Marilyn married Harold Eugene "Gene" Goble on March 17, 1953 in Carmi, IL.
She was a homemaker who always put her husband and children first. She was an excellent cook and baker, with pies being one of the specialties she was known for. Marilyn also enjoyed quilting, crocheting, flower and vegetable gardening.
Marilyn was preceded by her parents, granddaughter, Adrianne Pina, and her husband who passed on November 5, 2015. Marilyn and Gene were together for over 62 years of marriage, during which they thoroughly enjoyed country western music, square dancing and one anothers company and it is believed that she simply had to be where he was, so joined him there for "one more dance".
Left with wonderful memories are her five daughters: Derinda Goble Tynan, Rory (John) Yates, Lannie (Tony) Hayes, Macy (Clarence) Bell and Revel (Eric Honnold) Turner, four sons: Kim Goble, Barry (Lisa) Goble, Tod (Tammy) Goble and Dink (Denise) Goble.
